Acknowledgments

Acknowledgments are provided for every order. Contact customer service if you have not received an acknowledgment within 24 hours. Examine acknowledgments and contact customer service immediately with any errors.

Foil Imprints

• Hot stamp imprints are not permanent and cannot be guaranteed against rubbing off.
• Foil Imprints cannot be PMS matched.

Product Safety

• Products in this catalog are Certified Non-Toxic by ACMI (Art & Creative Materials Institute) and PMA (Pencil Manufacturer’s Association) and conform to ASTM standard D-4236.
• Products in the catalog are evaluated against and meet CA Prop 65 requirements and lead content levels.
• Products in this catalog are not manufactured to contain rubber latex, gluten products, corn products, wheat products, rice products, egg products and peanut products but are not exempt to post manufacturing contamination.

Product Color & Imprint

• Dixon has attempted to portray product colors in this catalog and on our website as accurately as possible. However, due to color reproduction in printing, internet and computer screen inaccuracies, the actual product color may differ slightly. If clarification of product color is required, please request a random sample.

Return Policy

• Returns will not be accepted without prior approval.
• All returns must have the RA (return authorization) number clearly marked on all packages.
• All requests must be submitted within 30 days.

Repeat Orders

• Provide previous purchase order and/or invoice number.
• All information, including item description, item color and artwork description must be clearly shown on new order or factory is not responsible for errors.
• Any repeat order referencing an order older than 2 years will incur a new set-up charge.

Samples

• Random samples are available at no charge. Samples are shipped via First Class Mail. If you would like samples sent using a different via, please provide us with your shipping number.
• Spec samples $30 (C) plus screens/dies or other applicable charges.
• Virtual samples are available on our website at no charge.

Shipping

• FOB Factory: Georgia
• Canadian shipments FOB Ontario
• “Best Way” unless otherwise specified (UPS or truck)
• Shipping weights are approximate. Dixon is not responsible for the difference in actual freight vs. quoted estimates.
• Once an order is shipped we can not be held responsible if the carrier does not deliver in their published time schedule.

Terms

• First time orders require Prepayment.
• Net 30 days upon credit approval.
• MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express accepted.

Pencils will be imprinted in the following standard imprint locations unless clearly specified on Purchase Order.

• Value Round & Hex Pencils

  Approximately 1/2″ from ferrule/eraser

• All other Round & Hex Pencils

  Approximately 1/4″ from ferrule/eraser

• Carpenter Pencils

  Approximately 1/2″ from right edge

• Crayon Boxes, Highlighters, RediSharp® Plus

  Imprint will be centered

Proofs

E-mail or fax proofs are provided upon request. A proof is an exact representation of the artwork we will use to print your product. When you approve a proof, you are taking full responsibility for the correct spelling, type style and all other aspects of your work.

• US Customers: Silkscreen requires 5-7 working days
• Foil imprints will always require a full 10 working days.
• Canadian Customers: 15 working days
• Production time does not include the day we receive the order and will begin after approval of credit and/ or proof
• For anything above catalog quantities, contact customer service for production time.

2-Day Rush Service (US Customers only) (Item#70100 Value Round Only)

The following criteria must be met in order to guarantee production time:

1. Order and usable artwork must be received by 1:00 pm EST
2. Black and white camera ready or emailed artwork (in proper format) is required.
3. Font size 8pt type minimum
4. Imprint size 31⁄2” x 13⁄16” maximum
5. Order must be marked 2 Day Rush Service and priced accordingly
6. Catalog quantities only
7. One color silkscreen imprint. Stock Red, Blue, Green or Black. No PMS Matches
8. Product and paper proofs are not available
9. Sharpening is not available
10. Credit must be established and current. Credit cards accepted
